- The Chautauqua Lake Partnership and Ready Scout performed herbicide treatments in June to control invasive Eurasian watermilfoil in and around Burtis Bay and nuisance plant growth near the Celoron marinas. Click here to for more information and to view treatment maps.
- The New York State Consolidated Funding Application opened in June, and applications for 2026 are due on July 31. The Alliance and its Member organizations are in the process of identifying potential grant applications for future projects. Click here for more information.

- CLP will be hosting its annual Lake Rally on Saturday, June 27 at 9 a.m. at The Village Casino in Bemus Point. The event is free and open to the public. Presentations are scheduled from Glenn Sullivan of Ready Scout, Dr. Rob Richardson of North Carolina State University, Alita Giuda of Couch-White LLP, and Alliance Executive Director Randall Perry. - The Village of Lakewood is will soon begin construction of its Fairmount Avenue Triangle Stormwater Basin Project, which will install a new engineered wetland to improve water quality entering Chautauqua Lake.
- The Chautauqua Lake Association will hold its Annual Meeting on Saturday, July 25 at 10 a.m. at the Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club in Lakewood. Click here for details.
