Eurasian Watermilfoil: The ProcellaCOR EC herbicide application to portions of Chautauqua Lake adjacent to towns and villages of Ellery, Bemus Point, Ellicott Celoron and Lakewood took place on Thursday, June 10.  Public access points in the vicinity of treatment and dilution areas were posted prior to treatment. Curly-Leaf Pondweed: The Towns of Ellery and Ellicott and the Village of Lakewood completed NYSDEC-permitted Aquathol K (endothall, EPA Reg.#70506-176) herbicide treatments in the shoreline areas of the Villages of Lakewood, Celoron, and Bemus Point and the Towns of Ellery and Ellicott to control invasive curly-leaf pondweed between May 12 and May 13, 2021.
