Minutes of the Board of Directors – Special Work Session
Monday, October 25, 2021
3:30 p.m. at the BWB Building, 201 West 3rd St. Jamestown, NY 14701 & via Zoom
Directors Present: Mary Hutchings (via Zoom), Bruce Erickson, Don Emhardt, David Shepherd, Mike Latone (via Zoom), and Jim Andrews
Directors Absent: Rob Yates, Pierre Chagnon, and Paul (P.J.) Wendel, Jr.
Staff in Attendance: Randall Perry – Alliance Executive Director and Taylor West – Alliance Project Manager
Staff Absent: Jay Young – Alliance Communications Coordinator
I. Call to Order
B. Erickson called the Board Meeting of the Chautauqua Lake and Watershed Management Alliance (Alliance) to order at 3:35 PM. A quorum of 6 out of 9 Alliance Board Members were present at the start of the meeting.
II. 2021-2022 Alliance Consolidated Foundation Grant Program
The Board discussed the 2022 Consolidated Foundation Grant Request. After discussion, D. Shepherd moved to authorize the Executive Director and Board Chair to submit the consolidated grant request totaling $800,000 to the participating Foundations. The motion was seconded by D. Emhardt and carried unanimously.
M. Hutchings made a motion to adjourn at 5:05 p.m. That motion was seconded by D. Emhardt and passed unanimously.
The Alliance Board of Directors passed a motion to approve these 10/25/21 Meeting Minutes on 11/11/21.
