Minutes of the Board of Directors – Work Session

Monday, August 19, 2019

4:30 p.m. at BWB Building

Directors Present: Jim Andrews, Dave Shepherd, Rob Yates, Mike LaTone, Ted McCague, Pierre Chagnon.

Absent: George Borrello, Bruce Erickson.

Staff in Attendance: Erin Brickley – Alliance Executive Director, Randall Perry – Alliance Project Manager.

Others Present: Martin F. Idzik

I. Call to Order:

P. Chagnon called the work session meeting of the Chautauqua Lake and Watershed Management Alliance (Alliance) to order at 4:30 PM.

II. Approval of Minutes:

A motion was made to accept the minutes of the 7/11/19 Board Meeting. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.

III. Motion to enter into executive session:

D. Shepherd moved that the board go into executive session to discuss particular persons with a second by R. Yates. Motion carried. Staff departed the room.

IV. Motion to exit executive session:

A motion was made by T. McCague to exit the executive session and was seconded by M. LaTone. Motion was carried.

V. Resignation of Alliance Executive Director:

Ms. Brickley re-joined the meeting. After discussion, Ms. Brickley resigned her position as Executive Director of the Chautauqua Lake and Watershed Management Alliance, effective immediately.

VI. Adjourn:

D. Shepherd motioned to adjourn, seconded by J. Andrews. The motion was approved.
